Your 2026 Annual Party Weekend

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena

Your home for two nights

Since 1907, this gleaming white landmark has been Pasadena's grand dame, resting in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and wrapped in twenty-three acres of manicured gardens. Wander across the covered Picture Bridge, linger over afternoon tea where Southern California society has gathered for more than a century, or retreat to your room, where crisp linens and garden views make the perfect intermission between the weekend's celebrations.

Your room is reserved under the Blue Skies group block for Friday and Saturday nights. Simply give your name at the front desk.

Your Private Coach Fleet

Door to door, all weekend long

However you arrive, the weekend begins the moment you reach Pasadena. Flying in? A private charter coach meets you at the LAX Marriott and carries you straight to The Langham. Driving in from across Southern California? Simply pull up to the hotel, check in and let your car rest for the weekend.

From there, a private fleet of full-size charter coaches carries everyone to and from every event. Settle in, catch up with colleagues and leave the driving to us. When the night winds down, your coach is waiting at the door to bring you home to The Langham.

The Welcome Reception at Der Wolf

Old Pasadena, 72 N Fair Oaks Ave

Old Pasadena's lively beer hall opens its doors for a private Blue Skies welcome. Expect cold drafts at three bars, a buzzing patio and a DJ who keeps the evening moving. The feast arrives in waves: street tacos of asada, carnitas, chicken and chipotle shrimp; sliced New York steak; wings; elote-style street corn; coconut shrimp; and mega pretzels with beer cheese. For those who stay until the very end, loaded tots and cheesecake await.

The Blue Skies Pasadena Open

Vina Vieja Park, 3026 E Orange Grove Blvd

Step off the coach and into the Pasadena Open, where your team swag is waiting. Gather with your color teammates, change into your jersey, crown the headband, and fill your team cup, then ease into the morning with fresh coffee from the coffee truck, a sparkling mimosa bar and chorizo breakfast burritos hot off the grill.

Then let the games begin. The Blue Skies Pasadena Open showcases some of Blue Skies' best athletes and future superstars, as 50 doubles teams and 7 color teams battle across three courts named for the weekend's landmarks: The Langham Court, Castle Green Court and the Championship Court. While not rallying on the courts, flex your competitive muscles on some of your favorite summer camp games, from the Egg & Spoon Race, Water Balloon Toss and Three Legged Race to Hula Hoop, Giant Jenga and an all-hands Tug of War. Every point counts, on the courts and on the fields, in the race for the ultimate trophy.

As the sun climbs, the whole camp regroups for a backyard BBQ of burgers, BBQ chicken and all the classic sides. Then, plates in hand, everyone circles the Championship Court for the grand finale: the championship match, where one team claims Pasadena Open glory. Afterward, the coaches whisk you back to The Langham for a few golden hours of your own: a dip in the pool, a lounge chair in the California sun, or a well-earned rest in your room before the masquerade begins.
